About the Project:
For the Modern Theater’s production "I and the Lama," we developed and executed a captivating duet titled "The Moon." Our goal was to craft a performance that seamlessly integrated into the play’s narrative and visual style.
Stage 1: Preparation
Concept Development:
Collaborated with the play’s director to align the "Moon" duet with the production’s themes of magic and nocturnal mystery.
The act aimed to evoke a dreamlike ambiance, reflecting the protagonists’ tender emotions.
Artist & Prop Selection:
Chose a professional aerialist with theatrical experience for the duet.
Designed a moon-themed structure as the central prop, matching the play’s visual concept.
Rehearsals:
Selected artists whose grace and skills suited the theatrical context.
Refined movements and timing to ensure harmony with the play’s pacing.
Stage Design:
The theater was transformed into a night sky with specialized lighting and decor.
